Suspicous fire in Perth South
Around 9 p.m. on April 24, a suspicious fire occurred in a fifth-wheel trailer on Line 15 in Perth South. The owners of the trailer were inside the house when they heard a pop. When they came out to investigate, they saw their trailer on fire. The trailer and its contents were destroyed.

Break-in at restaurant
Between 9 p.m. on May 3 and 5:30 a.m. May 4, suspects broke into Black Angus Restaurant on Downie Street. A window was smashed to gain entry. Once inside, the suspects stole steak, energy drinks and a quantity of cash.

Daylight break-ins in county
Between 6:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 15, suspects forced open a side door and stole a 42” Akia plasma flat-screen television from a residence on Perth-Oxford Road near Tavistock. Similar break-ins occurred that day  on Line 44 and on Line 29 in West Perth. It is possible that a grey pick-up truck was used in these crimes.

Trailer stolen in Stratford
Sometime between 4:30 p.m. on May 8 and noon on May 9, a trailer was stolen from Dunlop Place in Stratford. The trailer is a Cargomate 16-foot by eight-foot cargo trailer with Ontario licence plate E7892K. The value of the trailer is over $6,000.
